"Shift" Happens
I came across this video today. It is pretty thought-provoking.
The thought it provokes isn't "wow. we're in exciting times!" It's not even, "whoa... scary. we had better stay on top of things."
The thought it provokes is how empty and meaningless all of it is without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Put that in your 2028 $1000-human-brain-computation-surpassing laptop!

I don't understand the overall message of the video. Is it confronting the negative aspects of Globalization and Technology or praising the development of societies within the past century? Some of the points the video addressed are purely statistics and could not conform with reality.

But yes, Mr Hsu, you do make a strong point about Christianity and Jesus. I find it kind of BS. In history books, they'll discuss the history of Confucius and Buddha but not talk about Jesus. Liberals...the demise of society?
I cannot explain the meaning. The video is, indeed, schyzophrenic in its overall appeal.
Whether you find the prognostication exciting or frightening, one has to come to grips with it. More so, one has to come to grips with the fact that as small as one might feel in a changing, finite world, the infinite world of the afterlife is unmeasureabley more daunting if not handled with thoughtfulness and care.
In short, "look to the Cross, techno-geek, or let your harddrive overheat forever!"
