Spring Break 06 - Family Style (episode 08)

Driving home was a breeze. For the most part.
I made it from Los Angeles to home in 4 hours and 40 minutes.

The kids slept the whole way home after watching Finding Nemo on the DVD player.

Other than that, it was pretty uneventful.

We started the day down at the marina where we walked the sands on the beach and ate some fish and chips. Then we went to visit Uncle Francis, who, it turned out, needed out visit because he locked his keys in his car and was able to use our Triple-A card to fetch the professional carlock-jimmy-guy.

We went to eat dinner at Sam Woo's B-B-Q and headed home.

All in all it was a pretty fantastic vacation. The kids really enjoyed it and I think they're starting to appreciate all that we do for them. That's the only thing we, as parents, really want in return for the ways we spoil our children; some gratitude and appreciation. Agreed?
